Established in Japan and brought to Australia by Perfection Fresh, Broccolini is a cross between Broccoli and Kai Lan. Rich in potassium, vitamin c and beta-carotene, Broccolini is now grown in most states in Australia.
Available all year round. Peak season is Winter.
For optimum keeping, it is best to place broccolini in a breathable plastic bag and store it in the dry crisp area of the refrigerator. Broccolini needs a good balance of humidity and oxygen to keep fresh.
