Chocotorta is one of the most popular desserts in Argentina. This cake, created in the province of Santa Fe in 1982, is made up of four basic ingredients: chocolate biscuits (called “Chocolinas”, after the Bagley brand, similar to bourbon biscuits), dulce de leche, cream cheese, and some liquid for moistening (it can be coffee, syrup, liqueur, milk, chocolate milk, etc).
