Not only are they sweet and tasty, blackberries are rich in Vitamin C, fibre Vitamin K and magnesium. The darker the colour of the berry, the more rich in antioxidants the berry is. Blackberries are known for lowering the risk of heat disease and a number of cancers.

For optimum keeping, keep blackberries in the tray they are packaged in and store them in the dry crisp area of the refrigerator.
