Fun Fact - They call it "Red Cabbage", but its leaves can change colour due to the pH value of the soil. The more acidic the soil is, the redder leaves grow. In neutral soils, the leaves will grow purple.
Health Benefits - Full of Vitamin K and provides small amounts of calcium, magnesium and zinc.
Flavour - Somewhat peppery/earthy but gets sweeter as it gets cooked.

Storage - Store Cabbages in the dry crisp area of the refrigerator. If they have been cut into quarters or halves, it is best to wrap them in glad wrap to keep the leaves from drying out.
