With its knobby light brown skin, celeriac is a versatile vegetable with a high nutritional value. Beneath the skin lies a creamy white flesh that is similar to a potato but has a celery type flavour with a hint of parsley.
Available all year round. Peak season is March - September.
For optimum keeping, place Celeriac in a plastic bag and store it in the dry crisp area of the refrigerator.
