The Local Roost is a small family farm owned and operated by Canberra Locals. The farm was purchased at the start of 2022 with the idea of combining rural living and a wholesome family life with a productive agricultural business that restores health to the land. 

“Pasture raised eggs” means that the hens actually live in open paddocks and have access to forage on fresh pasture, dust bathe and search for bugs as they desire. In addition to what the chickens find in the paddocks we supplement their diet with quality feeds from reputable manufacturers and care for them in a responsible manner.
